गर्जंतं सोऽपि तं दृष्ट्वा प्रसर्पंतं च वीचिभिः । तामाह किमिदं भद्रे भीतो मे लवणोदधिः
garjaṃtaṃ so'pi taṃ dṛṣṭvā prasarpaṃtaṃ ca vīcibhiḥ | tāmāha kimidaṃ bhadre bhīto me lavaṇodadhiḥ
その海が轟き、波をもって押し寄せるのを見て、彼は彼女に言った。「これは何事か、優しき方よ。塩の海は、まるで我を恐れているようだ。」
