सरस्वत्युवाच । पिता मे ध्रियते यस्मात्तेन नाहं स्वयंवरा । तव भार्या भविष्यामि मार्गं यच्छ ममाधुना
sarasvatyuvāca | pitā me dhriyate yasmāttena nāhaṃ svayaṃvarā | tava bhāryā bhaviṣyāmi mārgaṃ yaccha mamādhunā
サラスヴァティーは言った。「父の権威が守られているゆえ、私は自ら婿を選ぶ自由がありません。あなたの妻となりましょう——今、私に道をお与えください。」
