श्रुत्वैतद्वचनं सोऽपि मुनिरुग्रतपास्तदा । पिता मे यो हतो देवैस्तेषां कृत्यां महाबलाम्
śrutvaitadvacanaṃ so'pi munirugratapāstadā | pitā me yo hato devaisteṣāṃ kṛtyāṃ mahābalām
この言葉を聞くと、激しい苦行の聖者はその時決意した。「我が父は神々に討たれた。ゆえに彼らに向けて、大いなる力をもつクリティヤー（kṛtyā）――滅尽の法――を起こそう。」
