स तु सांबस्य देवेशि सूर्यो विष्णुस्वरूपवान् । अपरां मूर्तिमास्थाय विष्णुरूपो वरं ददौ

Transliteration

sa tu sāṃbasya deveśi sūryo viṣṇusvarūpavān | aparāṃ mūrtimāsthāya viṣṇurūpo varaṃ dadau

Translation

女神よ、サーンバのために、太陽神は—まさにヴィシュヌの本体の姿を帯びて—別の顕現をとられた。ヴィシュヌの相となって、恩寵（願いをかなえる賜物）を授けられたのである。
