Transliteration

na ṣoḍaśāṃśaṃ yatnena labdhārthaṃ yadi yacchati | paṃcamāṃśamatho vāpi dadyāttatra dvijātiṣu

Translation

努力して得た財の十六分の一すら施さぬなら、せめてその地で、二度生まれの者（ドヴィジャ）の間に五分の一を布施すべきである。
