asya mūle sthitaḥ sūryyaḥ kalpādau brahmaṇoṃ'śajaḥ | tamārādhaya yattesāvasya sthānasya devatā
この樹の根元にはスーリヤ(太陽神)が立つ。カルパの初め、彼はブラフマーの一分として現れた。彼を礼拝せよ。まさに彼こそ、この聖地を司る守護神である。
