Tirtha: Somnātha at Prabhāsa
Type: kshetra
Scene: Candra completes a meticulous worship sequence before the Prabhāsa liṅga; Śaṅkara becomes ‘visible’—a luminous presence emerging from the liṅga—while Candra begins a hymn, hands folded, eyes uplifted.

Prabhāsa Kṣetra, presented in the Skanda Purana as a powerful Śaiva tīrtha where Śaṅkara grants direct manifestation.
Performing worship “according to vidhi” (prescribed rite) followed by stuti (hymnic praise).
