वयमाकारितास्तेन सुताः सर्वा यशस्विनि । न त्वामाहूतवान्दक्षस्त्रपते शंकराद्यतः
vayamākāritāstena sutāḥ sarvā yaśasvini | na tvāmāhūtavāndakṣastrapate śaṃkarādyataḥ
「誉れ高き方よ、私たち皆――父の娘たち――は招かれました。けれどもダクシャはあなたを招きませんでした。シャンカラゆえに恥じ、また敵意を抱いているからです。」
