वेदव्यासस्ततो जज्ञे जातूकर्ण्यपुरःसरः । तत्रैव नवमो विष्णुरदितेः कश्यपात्मजः
vedavyāsastato jajñe jātūkarṇyapuraḥsaraḥ | tatraiva navamo viṣṇuraditeḥ kaśyapātmajaḥ
ついでヴェーダヴィヤーサが誕生し、ジャートゥカルニヤ（Jātūkarṇya）が先に立った。さらに同じところで、ヴィシュヌの第九の顕現が、アディティの子として—すなわちカश्यパ（Kāśyapa）の子として生まれた。
