श्रीदेव्युवाच । किमर्थं सा परित्यक्ता सावित्री ब्रह्मणा पुरा । गायत्री च कथं प्राप्ता केन चास्य निवेदिता

吉祥なる女神は仰せになった。「いかなる理由で、かつてサーヴィトリーは梵天に捨てられたのか。ガーヤトリーはいかにして彼のもとに至り、誰によって差し出されたのか。」
