śrāvaṇe śuklapakṣasya tṛtīyāyāṃ narottamaḥ | yaḥ pitṝṃstarpayettatra tṛptiḥ kalpāyutaṃ bhavet

Translation

シュラーヴァナ月（Śrāvaṇa）の白分（明月）の第三日に、ああ人中の最勝よ、そこで祖霊ピトリ（Pitṛs）にタर्पナを捧げる者あらば、（彼らの）満足は一万カルパ（kalpa）にわたり続く。
