चिरं नियोगं सुश्रोणि व्रतं पाशुपतं महत् । धारयंति यथोक्तं तु मम विस्मयकारकम् । तेषामनुग्रहार्थाय मम चित्तं प्रधावति
ciraṃ niyogaṃ suśroṇi vrataṃ pāśupataṃ mahat | dhārayaṃti yathoktaṃ tu mama vismayakārakam | teṣāmanugrahārthāya mama cittaṃ pradhāvati
久しく、ああ麗しき腰の御方よ、彼らは厳しい規律のもと、説かれたとおりに偉大なるパーシュパタの誓戒を保ち続ける――それは我を驚嘆させる。彼らに恩寵を授けんがため、我が心は急ぎ彼らへと向かう。
