Transliteration

sutapteneha tapasā yajñairvā bahudakṣiṇaiḥ | tāṃ gatiṃ na narā yānti yāṃ gatāḥ sūryamāśritāḥ

Translation

この世でいかに熾烈な苦行を積もうとも、あるいは多くの布施を伴う祭祀を行おうとも、人は太陽に帰依する者が到達したその境地には至らない。
