Transliteration

takṣakaḥ sūryabiṃbasya tejasaḥ śātano mahān | evaṃ tasyā'bhavatputro vasūnāmaṣṭamasya vai

Translation

その偉大なるタクシャカは、太陽の円盤の燃え立つ光輝を鎮め減ずる力ある者であった。かくして彼から一子が生まれ、まさにヴァスの第八となった。
