नैवेद्यं रुचिरं दद्याद्वि ष्णुर्मे प्रीयतामिति । गीतवाद्यादिनृत्येन तथा पुस्तकवाचनैः
naivedyaṃ ruciraṃ dadyādvi ṣṇurme prīyatāmiti | gītavādyādinṛtyena tathā pustakavācanaiḥ
「我にヴィシュヌよ、喜び給え」と祈りつつ、麗しく美味なるナイヴェーディヤ(供食)を捧げるべきである。さらに、歌と楽器の奏楽、舞、また聖なる書の読誦によっても敬い奉るべきである。
