Sūta (deduced: Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa māhātmya narration)
Tirtha: Dvārakā (Kārttika-vrata context)
Type: kshetra
Scene: At the end of Kārttika, on Bodhavāra, a devotee stands before a group of brāhmaṇas at Dvārakā, receiving formal permission and blessing to undertake/complete the niyamas; ritual threads, water-pot, and concluding offerings are arranged neatly.
Vratas are best undertaken with humility and guidance—seeking the sanction of learned brāhmaṇas and observing proper timing.
The setting remains within Dvārakā Māhātmya’s sacred landscape (Gomati/Dvārakā), though the verse emphasizes vrata procedure.
Undertaking niyamas with brāhmaṇa permission and observing the timing tied to the completion of Kārttika and Bodhavāra.
