prakṣālya sā hareḥ pādau praviṣṭā varuṇālayam | tasminmahāpāpaharā gomatī sāgaraṃ gatā

Prahlāda (narration continues under 'Prahlāda uvāca')
Tirtha: Gomatī–Sāgara-saṅgama (Dvārakā)
Type: sangam
Listener: null
Scene: At Dvārakā’s river-mouth, the personified Gomatī reverently washes Hari’s feet; the waters shimmer as she flows into Varuṇa’s ocean, carrying away sins.
Contact with Hari sanctifies waters and places; the tīrtha becomes a channel for the removal of even grave sins.
The Gomatī’s sacred approach and entry into the ocean near Dvārakā, linked with Cakratīrtha’s sanctity.
Implicitly, bathing at the Gomatī–ocean sacred zone is praised as sin-destroying; no step-by-step rite is stated in this verse.
