tato'bhimukhamabhyetya dvārakāpathikaṃ mudā | nanāma śraddhayā bhūmau taddarśanamahotsavaḥ
それから彼は喜びに満ちて正面から近づき、ドヴァーラカーへ向かう旅人に、信をもって地にひれ伏し礼拝した。そのダルシャナを大いなる祭りとして寿いだ。
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) narrating to the sages (contextual attribution)
Tirtha: Dvārakā (Dvāravatī)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A traveler marked as Dvārakā-bound stands on a dusty pilgrimage road; another approaches face-to-face, joyfully prostrates on the earth, treating the meeting as a festival; distant hints of sea-wind and temple flags.
Reverence to devotees and joyful reception of holy darśana is itself a dharmic celebration that deepens purification.
Dvārakā is explicitly glorified through the figure of the ‘Dvārakā-pathika’ and the festive sanctity of meeting him.
Faithful namaskāra (prostration/bowing) to the holy traveler/devotee is presented as an act of devotion.
