तद्दिने ये प्रकुर्वंति सम्यग्वेधेन शोभितम् । सशल्यं तन्न संदेहः प्रेतत्वं याति तेन च
taddine ye prakurvaṃti samyagvedhena śobhitam | saśalyaṃ tanna saṃdehaḥ pretatvaṃ yāti tena ca
その当日に、誤ったヴェーダ（vedha：不適切な重なり）によって「正しく標された」かのように見えつつ汚れを帯びた儀礼を行う者は、疑いなく、その行いは「棘を含む」ものとなり、これによってプレータ（彷徨う霊）の境涯へ堕する。
