नोपवासं हरिदिने कुरुते न व्रतं हरेः । विना चतुर्दशीं राजन्नान्यदेवसमुद्भवम्
nopavāsaṃ haridine kurute na vrataṃ hareḥ | vinā caturdaśīṃ rājannānyadevasamudbhavam
ハリ（Hari）の日に彼は断食（ウパヴァーサ）をせず、ハリのための誓願も立てなかった――ただし月の第十四日（チャトゥルダシー）のみは別である、王よ。さらに、他の神々に由来するいかなる行法も行わなかった。
