ihārthe ca purā proktaṃ itihāso dvijottamāḥ | pradyumnena susaṃvāde mārkaṇḍena mahātmanā

最勝の二度生まれた者たちよ、この件に関して、古の聖なる物語がかつて語られた—プラデュムナと大いなる魂をもつ聖仙マールカンデーヤとの、すぐれた対話において。
