संपूर्णनियमः स्नातस्त्वत्प्रसादाद्भवाम्यहम् । तच्छुत्वा वचनं दैत्यो नातिहृष्टमनास्तदा । दुर्वाससमुवाचेदं नैतदेवं भविष्यति
saṃpūrṇaniyamaḥ snātastvatprasādādbhavāmyaham | tacchutvā vacanaṃ daityo nātihṛṣṭamanāstadā | durvāsasamuvācedaṃ naitadevaṃ bhaviṣyati
「汝の恩寵により、我はあらゆる規戒（ニヤマ）を円満に成就し、厳正なる律にて儀礼の沐浴（スナーナ）を行おう。」この言葉を聞いて、ダイティヤ（バリ）はさほど喜ばず、ドゥルヴァーサに言った。「このようには成るまい。」
