そこで第五の月日(パンチャミー)にシュラーダ(śrāddha)を修し、とりわけプレータ・パクシャ(亡者のための半月)に行う者は、善き人々・徳ある者たちに愛される。
Narrator (contextually Sūta/Lomaharṣaṇa continuing the māhātmya narration)
Tirtha: Rājavāpī
Type: kund
Scene: At the stepped pond, a householder performs śrāddha on Pañcamī: kusa grass, piṇḍas, tila-water offerings, brāhmaṇas seated, lamps and flowers near the water’s edge; atmosphere solemn and pure.
Ancestral rites performed at a praised tīrtha, at the proper tithi, refine one’s dharma and align one with the esteem of the righteous.
The same sacred site previously introduced—Rājavāpī—where śrāddha is declared especially fruitful.
Perform śrāddha at that tīrtha specifically on Pañcamī tithi, with special emphasis during the preta/pitṛ-related fortnight.
