Transliteration

yadā saṃsthāpito brahmā mārkaṃḍena mahātmanā | tadā vinirmitaṃ tatra kuṇḍaṃ śucijalānvitam

Translation

大いなる聖者マールカンデーヤがその地に梵天（ブラフマー）を安置したとき、ただちにそこに清浄なる水満ちる聖なる池が造り出された。
