Transliteration

tacchrutvā garuḍastūrṇaṃ dhṛtapāśupatavrataḥ | saṃsthāpya devamīśānaṃ tatastaṃ toṣamānayat

Translation

これを聞くや、ガルダはただちにパーシュパタの誓戒を受持した。しかるのち主イーシャーナ（シヴァ）を如法に安置し、御心を歓ばせるために修行に励んだ。
