atha tasminkathāṃte sa garuḍaḥ puruṣottamam | provāca tāṃ striyaṃ dṛṣṭvā vṛddhāṃ tejaḥsamanvitām

やがてその語らいが終わると、ガルダは至上者プルショーッタマに申し上げた。老いながらも光輝を備えたその女人を見て、彼女のことを取り上げた。
