Sūta
Type: kshetra
Scene: A respectful meeting: a brāhmaṇa/elder (the father) approaches Garuḍa, the majestic bird-king, hands folded, head bowed; Garuḍa stands or perches with expansive wings, radiant and protective; the maiden is implied nearby, veiled or in the background.
Even in worldly duties like marriage, dharma is pursued through humility, right counsel, and worthy friendships.
The verse is narrative setup; the larger chapter links these events to the sacred kṣetra celebrated in the Tīrthamāhātmya.
