Type: kund
Scene: Travelers exhausted by sun and thirst step into a radiant pool/river; the water emits a subtle Śaiva glow; above, a vision of Maheśvara’s abode appears as a calm luminous realm.
Contact with sanctified Śaiva waters is portrayed as intrinsically purifying—granting the highest goal even when sought for mundane relief.
The chapter’s Nāgarakhaṇḍa tīrtha whose waters are said to lead to Maheśvara’s supreme abode.
Avagāha (immersion/bathing) in the tīrtha’s water—highlighting that even incidental immersion bears great fruit.
