इन्द्र उवाच । जानाम्यहं चतुर्वक्त्र स्वं कायं पापसंयुतम् । चिह्नैर्ब्रह्मवधोद्भूतैस्तस्माच्छुद्धिं वदस्व मे
indra uvāca | jānāmyahaṃ caturvaktra svaṃ kāyaṃ pāpasaṃyutam | cihnairbrahmavadhodbhūtaistasmācchuddhiṃ vadasva me
インドラは言った。「四つの御顔を持つ御方よ、我が身は罪に染まり、ブラフマン殺し（brahma-vadha）より生じた徴に刻まれていると知っている。ゆえに、我に浄めの道を説き給え。」
