ब्राह्मण उवाच । या मया सहसा दृष्टा स्वयमेव हुताशन । परकांतेन तां नाद्य शुद्धामपि गृहं नये
brāhmaṇa uvāca | yā mayā sahasā dṛṣṭā svayameva hutāśana | parakāṃtena tāṃ nādya śuddhāmapi gṛhaṃ naye
婆羅門は言った。「おおフターシャナ（火神アグニ）よ、我が目で不意に、他人の愛する者と並ぶ彼女を見てしまった。たとえ清められていようとも、今日、我は彼女を家へ連れ帰らぬ。」
