Transliteration

jamadagniruvāca | homadhenuriyaṃ rājanmamaikā prāṇasaṃmatā | adeyā sarvadā pūjyā tasmānnārhasi yācitum

Translation

ジャマダグニは言った。「王よ、これは我がホーマ（供火）の牝牛、ただ一つの宝であり、命そのもののように愛しい。決して与えるべきではなく、常に敬い供養すべきである。ゆえに、汝はこれを求めてはならぬ。」
