yayā sa mahiṣaḥ pūrvaṃ nihato dānavo raṇe | kaumāravratadhāriṇyā māyāśatasahasradhṛk

Translation

彼女によって、かつて戦場にて水牛の姿をしたダーナヴァは討ち滅ぼされた。彼女は処女性の誓い（クマーラ・ヴラタ）を保ち、百千の幻力（マーヤー）を具える。
