Type: temple
Scene: Dawn light enters the temple courtyard; the king offers final pūjā to Mahākāla, then respectfully honors seated brāhmaṇas with gifts; afterward he mounts to depart with his army, faces bright with satisfaction.
Ideal dharma is shown as devotion to the deity paired with honoring brāhmaṇas and seeking proper leave—humility after merit.
Mahākāla’s sacred abode/shrine where the worship occurred (traditionally Mahākāleśvara, Ujjain).
Morning pūjā to Mahākāla following the vigil, along with honoring dvijottamas (ritual respect/support of priests).
