Narrator (contextual; not explicit in this verse)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A Brahmin-sage performs sequential worship: first a radiant mantra-deity (Viśoṣiṇī Vidyā) as a yantra-like presence; then eight Dikpālas at the compass points; then fierce kṣetrapālas at the threshold; finally a luminous goddess moving through the sky above the shrine.
Spiritual power is approached through ordered dharmic worship—honoring mantra-vidyā together with the cosmic and local protectors of sacred space.
The passage belongs to the Nāgarakhaṇḍa’s tīrtha-glorification narrative; it emphasizes sanctity of the kṣetra (sacred precinct) and its guardians, though the verse itself does not name the tīrtha.
Propitiation of Viśoṣiṇī Vidyā, followed by worship of Dikpālas and Kṣetrapālas, and then the Ākāśacāriṇī deity with śraddhā.
