ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | prāyaścittaṃ samādiṣṭaṃ mahāmāṃsasya bhakṣaṇāt | pratigrahasya bhūpālā dāpatkāle'pi no nṛpa

Translation

聖仙たちは言った。「粗き肉を食したことには贖罪（プラーヤシュチッタ）が定められている。王よ、たとえ災厄の時であっても、贈与の受納（プラティグラハ）は我らには相応しくない。」
