Transliteration

skāṃdaṃ purāṇametacca kumāreṇa puroddhṛtam | yaḥ śṛṇoti satāṃ madhye naraḥ pāpātpramucyate

Translation

この『スカンダ・プラーナ』は、神なる若子クマーラ（Kumāra）によって最初に顕された。善き人々の集いの中でこれを聴く者は、罪より解き放たれる。
