Transliteration

kiṃ punaḥ śraddhayopetāḥ parvakāla upasthite | dattvā dānaṃ dvijendrāṇāṃ narā vedavidāṃ dvijāḥ

Translation

ましてや吉祥なる祭時が到来し、信を具えた人々が、ヴェーダに通暁する最勝の二度生まれ（ブラーフマナ）に布施を捧げるなら、その功徳はいかばかりであろう。
