। सूत उवाच । तस्यैव पश्चिमे भागे मृगतीर्थमनुत्तमम् । अस्ति पुण्यतमं ख्यातं समस्ते धरणीतले । तत्र ये मानवास्तीर्थे सम्यक्छ्रद्धासमन्विताः । चैत्रशुक्लचतुर्दश्यां स्नानं कुर्वंतिभास्करे
| sūta uvāca | tasyaiva paścime bhāge mṛgatīrthamanuttamam | asti puṇyatamaṃ khyātaṃ samaste dharaṇītale | tatra ye mānavāstīrthe samyakchraddhāsamanvitāḥ | caitraśuklacaturdaśyāṃ snānaṃ kurvaṃtibhāskare
スータは語った。「その同じ地の西方に、比類なき聖なる渡処、ムリガティールタと名づけられたものがある。全地において最上の功徳をもたらすと名高い。堅固なる信（シュラッダー）を具えた人々が、チャイトラ月の白分十四日、日の出の時にそのティールタで沐浴すれば、大いなる法の功徳を得る。」
