Transliteration

saṃprāptāḥ paramāṃ prītiṃ tato dvāśavārṣikīm | etasmātkāraṇācchrāddhaṃ prakaromi dvijottamāḥ

Translation

彼らは至上の歓喜を得て、それは十二年にわたり続いた。ゆえにこそ、最勝のブラーフマナたちよ、私は今シュラーダ（śrāddha）を執り行うのである。
