अवध्यं संगरे पूर्वैः सर्वैदेवैः सवासवैः । स तथेति प्रतिज्ञाय जगामादर्शनं हरः
avadhyaṃ saṃgare pūrvaiḥ sarvaidevaiḥ savāsavaiḥ | sa tatheti pratijñāya jagāmādarśanaṃ haraḥ
（彼女は子を願った。）古のすべての神々が、ヴァーサヴァ（インドラ）をも伴って戦場に臨もうとも、決して殺し得ぬ子を。ハラは「そのとおりに」と誓って承け、やがて姿を消した。
