शुक्लपक्षं समासाद्य तारापतिरिवांबरे । वर्धमानस्य तस्यैवमतीताः पंच वत्सराः । बालक्रीडाप्रसक्तस्य पितुरुत्सङ्गवर्तिनः
śuklapakṣaṃ samāsādya tārāpatirivāṃbare | vardhamānasya tasyaivamatītāḥ paṃca vatsarāḥ | bālakrīḍāprasaktasya piturutsaṅgavartinaḥ
白月の半月が天にて星々の主のごとく満ちてゆくように、その子もまた成長した。かくして五年が過ぎ——幼子の遊びに心を寄せ、父の膝の上に抱かれていた。
