Transliteration

viśvāmitra uvāca | atra te kīrtayiṣyāmi pūrvavṛttaṃ kathāṃtaram | śaṃkhatīrthasya māhātmyaṃ yathājātaṃ dharātale

Translation

ヴィシュヴァーミトラは言った。「ここで私は、古の出来事、もう一つの聖なる物語をあなたに語ろう。地上においてそのように生じた『シャङ्खティールタ（Śaṅkhatīrtha）』の大功徳である。」
