यत्र दित्या तपस्तप्तं सुसुतं कांक्षमाणया । तद्दृष्ट्वा परमं स्थानं जीवं प्रोवाच देवपः

yatra dityā tapastaptaṃ susutaṃ kāṃkṣamāṇayā | taddṛṣṭvā paramaṃ sthānaṃ jīvaṃ provāca devapaḥ

その地でディティ(Diti)は、すぐれた子を望みつつ苦行(タパス)を修した。その至上の聖地を目にした神々の主は、師であるジーヴァ(Jīva)に語りかけた。
