bahubhiḥ kalaho nityaṃ dvābhyāṃ saṃgharṣaṇaṃ tathā | ekākī vicariṣyāmi kumārīvalayaṃ yathā

Translation

多くと共にあれば常に争いがあり、二人であってもまた摩擦が生じる。ゆえに私は独り歩まん——乙女の手首の腕輪のごとく、ただ一つなら打ち合わず音も立てぬように。
