Transliteration

etasmātkāraṇāddharmyaṃ mayā tyaktaṃ dvijottamāḥ | mokṣamārgārgalā bhūtaṃ dṛṣṭvā sarpaviceṣṭitam

Translation

まさにこのゆえに、ああ最勝の再生者たちよ、わたしは「立派」とされる家住の生を捨てた。解脱への道を塞ぐ閂となった蛇のはたらきを見たからである。
