そこで外部のナーガラの人々はその地を捨て、遠くに身を置いた。さらにカーンディシーへ向かう途中、ラाक्षसに餌食とされつつ、ついに聖なるナルマダー河畔、マールカṇḍेयの庵の近くに至った。
