ददौ कन्यां सुदुःखार्तामश्रुपूर्णेक्षणां स्थिताम् । सन्निधौ वह्निविप्राणां तदा तेन विवाहिता

dadau kanyāṃ suduḥkhārtāmaśrupūrṇekṣaṇāṃ sthitām | sannidhau vahniviprāṇāṃ tadā tena vivāhitā

彼は、深い悲しみに打たれ、涙に満ちた目で立つその乙女を差し出した。聖火とバラモンたちの臨席のもと、その時、彼によって婚儀が執り行われた。
