ततः सा यौवनं प्राप्ता तद्रूपापि कुमारिका । न कश्चिद्वरयामास शास्त्रवाक्यमनुस्मरन्
tataḥ sā yauvanaṃ prāptā tadrūpāpi kumārikā | na kaścidvarayāmāsa śāstravākyamanusmaran
やがて彼女は妙齢に達したが、その姿であったため、シャーストラの戒めを思い起こして、誰一人として婚姻を求める者はいなかった。
