मासं मासं प्रति सदा शांता दांता जितेंद्रियाः । ततो मासा वसानेऽन्ये चक्रुस्तच्छांतिकं द्विजाः
māsaṃ māsaṃ prati sadā śāṃtā dāṃtā jiteṃdriyāḥ | tato māsā vasāne'nye cakrustacchāṃtikaṃ dvijāḥ
月ごとに、彼ら婆羅門は常に静謐で自制し、諸根を制して、その同じシャーンティ（鎮静の法）を修した。さらに月が満ちると、別の婆羅門たちもまた同じシャーンティを行った。
