एवं ते समयं कृत्वा गता यावद्द्विजोत्तमाः । तावद्ध पतिना ज्ञाता न कश्चित्तत्र तिष्ठति
evaṃ te samayaṃ kṛtvā gatā yāvaddvijottamāḥ | tāvaddha patinā jñātā na kaścittatra tiṣṭhati
このように約束を定めて最勝のバラモンたちは去った。すると夫は、そこに誰一人として残っていないことを知った。
